This is a small & final page to this site, but I would like to say a big thank you to a few people in my (professional) life that I owe so much to. Without these people I wouldn't be here and for that I will be forever grateful.
The first is Paul Burtenshaw. My first mentor & possibly the only person who shared any faith in me during my time as an apprentice at British Gas! Without Paul I would have given up long before I finished my apprenticeship and I'm not sure where that would have led to. Since then he has remained a good friend, albeit we don't get to share a pint of Ballards much these days! Thanks Paul & thanks for the laughs along the way...
I also owe a huge 'cheers mucker' to Colin Ligertwood. During my time at Trolhurst Plc (94-02) he guided & supported me through my time as a trainer and became a good friend too. I can recall at least 2 'business functions' that Colin guided me on - one of which gave me the best career move I ever made. Without that I definitely wouldn't have achieved a fraction of what I have today. Colin too remains a good friend & someone who I miss having a pint with.
I would also like to thank Giovanni Packham (RIP), Mike Frost (sadly also RIP), Chris Edwards & Terry McAlinden amongst a few un-named others..
